Dance, like mother like daughter!

So it begins, when I was Callye's age I was taking dance and tumbling classes in Greenville. My classes were combined and I was taught by the amazing Barbara Sugg!!!!! If you know her then you know she was a great teacher and it has continued within the family. Her daughter Lori loves to dance as do Lori's girls Allison (my current fair Queen) and Bridget. I decided it was something that Callye would enjoy. So this summer her and I talked about it and if you know Callye then you know she LOVES to dance so it was not a difficult deicision to enroll her in dance class.
All ready to go to her first night of dance, she even hairs her up in the bun as requested by the dance studio. Isn't her hair adorable?????

This is by far my favorite photo of her during dance. It was actually taken after dance class, being that during dance class parents are not allowed in the room so that the girls can concentrate and not get distracted. I think that is a wonderful idea!!! After her class I asked her to show me her room and to show me some of the moves she learned. She ran straight for the mirror and made this pose.

Showing me some of her dance moves!

"Mommy we do this it is called the butterfly" Well we are 2 1/2 months into dance season and she loves it. She will be performing at the local nursing homes with her dance class in December until then.............

The boys of fall......the smaller version!

Getting the game plan all figured out before their very first game!
Here comes the runningback for the local Greenville Rams, will he make it to the end zone ????

Preparing for our next move during the final game.

Our last game got rained out and ended in a tye. We did manage to beat the other team every other game of the season. The boys learned alot, played well, and most of all had fun!!! Last time of the season for ALL IN..........GO RAMS!!!!!!!

CAN YOU TELL BY THE HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE HOW MUCH HE LOVES TO PLAY FOOTBALL?????????

Colton played football this fall and loved every minute of it! He is quick and everyone commented on how he already has formed calf muscles! He started running when he was little and it is something he enjoys doing. Anytime we are outside he wants to race from tree to tree or just run period. He had 2 great coaches (one of them was his dad). Wonder where he got his love of football????????????

Dino Day

This is the final result after a few hours of chipping away to find all the dino fossils! We ended up one T-Rex arm short of being able to complete the puzzle er statute. I went back thru all of the rock and still didn't find it! The kids had fun and we were able to spend the day together doing something different all while learning something as well.
Callye with her safty goggles on preparing to chip away some more of the rock in hopes of finding more dinosaur fossils!

Colton was really into it, he LOVES dinosaurs and loves to read books about them as well. I may have a future paleontogist on my hands!!!!!!!
